Project Scorpio wins the Anatolian Rover Challenge competition!

Members of the Off-Road Student Research Group are not idling! At the Anatolian Rover Challenge, which took place in Turkey on 22-25 July, our students under the supervision of Dr Mariusz Kosobudzki won 1st place out of a total of 12 teams from 6 countries.

In addition to winning the competition itself by collecting the most points in each category, which were: Earth, Moon and Mars missions, Project Scorpio also achieved an extra mission award.

It is interesting to note that the students modified an older version of their rover, Scorpio X, for this competition (the latest is Scorpio 7). More information about our students’ recent success can be found on the University’s website (in Polish) and on the Project Scorpio website.
